Fish hooks
Fish hooks are our most popular earring findings for pierced ears. Also known as Shepherds Hooks or just plain earring wires. Used with headpins, eyepins and all types of threads to hang beads from the loop at the bottom of the fish hook, or you could use a jump ring to hang a pendant.
All of our findings are low nickel.
We have a 'How to Leaflet' that may help you use these components

Loop Stud Earrings
These components work the same way as the Fish hooks above except that the hanging part is closer to the earlobe. This will allow you make shorter earrings. Used with headpins, eyepins and all types of threads to hang beads from the loop. In most cases a butterfly back is used behind the ear to secure the stud so any weight hanging from the loop will not pull the earring stud down and out.
Please note that these loop stud earrings are sold separately to the butterfly backs. The butterfly backs are listed below. We sell these separately because we feel that if you need them you have the option to buy them instead of having to buy them when you don't really need them!

Butterfly Backs
Butterfly Backs or Earring Backs are used to secure many types of earring wires that are used for pierced ears where the earring component goes through the earlobe. There are many styles available of which we stock the most common. These Butterfly Backs will fit on to the both the fish hooks and loop stud earrings. As these are mass produced, plated components you may experience one or two of these earring backs not fitting, if this is the case then use a small point (like a compass) to increase the hole size.
