Beadalon
We now stock the very popular range of beading threads designed and produced by beaders for beaders. The most popular type of Beadalon we sell is the 7 strand, which on first impressions looks and feels like Tiger Tail.
However Beadalon has some advantages over tiger tail thread.
First, it is softer and more flexible which gives you the second difference, which is that Beadalon has a higher kink resistance that tiger tail hasn't. This is not to say you cannot kink Beadalon, that is possible but it is much more difficult to do by accident!
Thirdly, Beadalon is available in more colours, 9 colours including gold and bright (a dull silver appearance), which makes it look the same as Tiger Tail.

Beadalon 49

 Beadalon 7 is a stainless steel, 7 strand wire with a smooth, kink resistant nylon coating. This wire is softer, stronger and more flexible than tiger tail. It can be used for most general beading projects.
The picture shows the colours available, listed from top to bottom they are;Pink, Blue, Green, Purple,
Black, Bronze, red, Gold & Bright (dull silver)

Beadalon 49
Satin Silver and Satin Gold have just been introduced into the Beadalon wire cable range. The satin effect gives a much softer appearance to the beadalon wire thread.

Crinkle Wire
 Crinkle wire is part of the 7 strand family and this beading wire has a consistent wave throughout it's length. Use this wire to add a new dimension to strung necklaces, bracelets and even dangles!
The 15ft (4.6 metres) reels of crinkle wire are available in silver and gold colour, we stock the 0.38mm (0.015 inch) diameter.
Beadalon 19 Strand
Beadalon 19 is made up from 19 minature stainless steel strands that are covered in a protective nylon coating, just like the 7 strand. The greater the number of strands, the more flexible and kink resistant the thread is. We now stock five colours/effects, bright, gold plated, silver plated, satin silver and satin gold.

The 19 strand is more expensive than the 7 strand but the difference is worth it. We now have the satin silver and satin gold in 19 strand beadalon. To see the difference in effect please see the picture shown on the 7 strand section above.

Beadalon 49
Beadalon 49 Strand
Beadalon 49 is made up from 49 minature stainless steel strands that are covered in a protective nylon coating, just like the 7 strand and the 19 strand. The greater the number of strands, the more flexible and kink resistant the thread is and is this case the 49 strand is the softest and most flexible of all the beadalon family of threads.
We stock three colours,
24k gold plated wire, bright (dull silver)
& new silver plated
It is not necessary to use a needlle to string with beadalon wire and the 49 strand can be knotted as well as crimped.
The bright 49 is available in two reel sizes, 30ft (9.2 metre) and 100ft (30 metres).
The 24k gold plated is only available in 10ft (3 metres).
The new silver plated is available in both 10ft (3 metres) and 100ft (30 metres).
