Introducing the new Xilion Bead 5328 CrystallizedTM - Swarovski Elements.

The 5301 Bi-cone was the most popular bead that CrystallizedTM - Swarovski Elements produced in their extensive component range. As with any popular component, reproductions and cheaper copies soon appear and until recently it has become harder to know which are the copies and which were the authentic article.

CrystallizedTM - Swarovski Elements have now upgraded their 5301 Bi-cone to the 5328 Xilion bead. The 5328 Xilion bead can be combined with the 5301 Bi-cone bead in your projects as their dimensions and geometry are complimentary.

'The revolutionary XILION cut, with its alternating large and small facets, results in distinctively higher brilliance and particularly intense light reflection. In addition, this cut is differentiated from all other products on the market and copyright protected. The increased number of facets enhances the overall appearance of the bead and the rounder belt line result in improved wearing comfort of the finished design. You will benefit from the unique XILION brilliance, leading to clearer differentiation between your products and designs and those of your competitors. '

'The XILION cut will be applied to all standard sizes of the bicone bead except for 2.5 mm, which is too small to be upgraded. As the 5301 becomes out of stock the 5328 Xilion bead will be shipped in it's place.'

The period of time that the 5301 to 5328 transition will occur between June 2009 through to September 2009. As stocks of the 5301 bicone bead become exhausted the 5328 xilion bead will be shipped in it's place.

We have already started to receive the new 5328 xilion bead and at first glance you will not notice the difference until to start using them. The new 5328 xilion crystal reflect more light due to the increased number of facets and we will make them available for you to buy once we have depleted our stocks of the current 5301 bicone.

Please keep an eye on this page and the 5301 bicone pages. Once we have photographed the 5328 xilion beads we will post them here.
